Airplanes, Low Tide and the Art of Losing Control | Fine Art Photograpy

The Bean and I are buzzing around on the beach at low tide, splashing through tidal pools and bounding over the sandbars making airplane noises as we watch the local air traffic depart and arrive.  I’ve got Emily in one arm and my camera slung over the other (does anyone know a good chiropractor?!).  In those moments, I couldn’t care less about anything else.  Dad and daughter are flying without a care in the world. Right smack in the middle of it all is this week’s final Friday Zen.  A brief pause in our flight, a few clicks of the shutter and I knew I had my shot.  I could feel it.  Then we returned our trays to the upright position and took off.  Time to let it all go and be a kid again.

Happy Friday!!
